Buying gas for our Dodge 2500 heavy duty is a killer. We don't need it anymore to haul horses and farm vehicles so we're thinking of downsizing, majorly. We still need something to stick 10 bales of hay in. We're thinking about a Frontier King Cab XE 2WD,
5-speed. Seems like we can get into one for 17K. Not bad.I've read of issues with the earlier Frontiers with the 4WD.
Experiences? Good, bad ... Certain things to look for? I'd really like our next truck to be a 100K vehicle (like my 89 Sentra which we ran until DMV pulled it off the road at inspection with a hole rusted in the frame).
