There's no way to understand just how large the SEMA show was until you go. But if you walk all of the isles they say, you would have walked well over 10 miles. Of course that's without stopping every 20 feet to check out another super car, 4x4 or street truck and walk around them a few times. You look to the rear of the exhibit hall and it's as if they go to infinity. That's not counting the adjoining APEX show going on concurrently. Both shows displayed awesome horsepower and performance. Not to mention all the other items to make your ride look, sound or be different.

  1. There was a fantastic showing of several hundred cars, trucks, boats and custom vehicles showcasing true forged creativity from some of the most talented custom fabricators and engineers. Many new vehicle lines and designs were featured at the show including Ford's new Mustang and GT40 celebrating their 100yr anniversary. A vast showing of all types of cars and trucks; from Volkswagen to Dodge, Hummer, Mini, Nissan, Toyota, Porsche, BMW and more.

Edge magazine/Lowrider Euro was there with their 2003 project Nissan Altima in progress sporting a billet grille, wheels, tires, suspension system, exhaust system and custom air-brushed paint job. Numerous articles of performance and restyling modifications will be in their

2004 issues.

Over 100k persons attended the car show and new product and design releases were the events of the day. There were some incredible hot rods and super tuner cars showing off the newest engineering designs in automotive performance tuning products, as well we gathered information about what the people are looking for and new products. Thanks to everyone that filled out our requests and let us know what performance parts you want. We've let the manufacturers know and most are going to be in production soon.

20", 22", 24" and even 28" Chrome wheels for miles and some wheels were truly exotic like platinum plated, ostrich skin and light weight racing wheels were unveiled in the tire wheel section of the show. Twenty Inch Strong was one of the new lines released by American Racing. 26 inch rims were spotted on at least one SUV as well as street slicks and performance tires.

One of the highlights of the show was rollout once the week-long show ended. Everything from NASCAR cars, dragsters, sport sedans, luxury cars and tuner cars flooded the parking lot and streets of Las Vegas. There was even a chance meeting with Jesse James and the crew from Monster Garage around the Toyo booth. There were driving events held at the show and the local Las Vegas speedway. Several drivers decided to blow-off after such a high-octane show and take some of these cars to the track.
