Dear Netters and Maxima lovers
I almost at th verge of trading in my 2002 GLE for a 2005 SL (smoke exterior, black leather). The dealer told me it is "base model SL" (for some $500/per month for 60months)
My questions are:
What is a base model SL?
What features does it have?
Should I take it?
Is this a good offer?
Do all 2004-2005 Maximas come with skyview or not?
Is there a downside to having a skyview or not?
I appreciate any infor or advice.

The same goes for the skyview, those were early build '04s only due to the glass not being tempered correctly.
That said, I agree with the other poster and go look at Infiniti I35s. You'll get better dealer service, in addition to getting more bang for the buck.

A friend of mine did similar. He's on a 10-year cycle, so he got rid of his '94 and bought an '04 G35. A little more pricy but better options/service.
