After I remove them, keeping them in order and submerged in clean oil, what can I do to see if any are bad. I have a continous loud knocking coming from center cylinder, rear side, inside valve cover. All started shortly after using Rislone oil additive. The oil became dirty in much shorter time (breaking down sludge) than usual so I'm thinking lifter may be clogged up.
