Ok people here's the problem, i'm in the UK and have a very annoying front suspension noice when going over rough roads. It's not a loud knocking noice but close to a rumbling sound.
The car is a 1998 Maxima (QX in the UK) 24V V6 I have replaced the stabilizer bar connecting rods and the front tyres. Steering is excellent and no vibration comes through to the steerintg wheel. The problem occurs when going over rough roads or tracks.
Is it possible the ball joints have worn? or the struts? the car has done
82,000 miles. Are there any other components that could be worn? thre car will be off the ground for an oil change this weekend, any checks i can make?Hope someone can help
