Nissan Service Manual - Is it worth it ?

The factory shop manual ships with every Infiniti Q45 (as far as I know).

The only problem is the FSM is wrong sometimes, for example, for a fuel pump or fuel pump control unit burnout, it seems we're better off going to NICO & Yahoo to speak with the online mechanics than to religiously follow the overly diagnostic procedures in the FSM.

If you follow the FSM, you'll end up replacing the fuel pump control unit and leaving the working fuel pump; whereas the correct repair is to replace the working fuel pump & resolder & reinforce the fuel pump control unit #4 ground wire to the fuel pump control unit connector. It's the opposite of what the FSM recommends that worked for me.
