Tire suggestion for 95SE with original wheels?
In the past I've used all-season tires, but this car doesn't see much snow, and I'd be happy with regular tires, if it gives me better dry grip, no worse wet grip, and better tread wear.
When I bought it it had new Eagle RS-A tires which lasted me 60k miles. I replaced them with Michelin MXV4 Pilots (I think), which are down to the wear bars at 25k miles.
On tirerack.com, the Michelins got better reviews, but without a side-by-side test, the only thing I could tell is that the new Michelins hydroplaned less than the worn Goodyears.
I'll probably also look at tirerack.com, before making a purchase, but I thought I'd check here first to see what people on the newsgroup like.
