RE: Window problem

Hi to all that replied.

I am still getting nowhere. As far as I can tell, there does seem to be some procedure that will re-activate the passenger window, all I know is that it may end with holding the button for ten seconds when the procedure is finished but I don't know what the procedure is. I have tried searching for the subject but there only seems to be about 600 or so messages left on my news server and the ones that match the search are no help.

I am an electronics engineer and have checked for the obvious things and there is no reason why it should not work which leaves a computer fault as the most likely problem.

Please help.

Cheers.

Jerry.

Hi, I don't find the rest of the subject. Are you having problems with a window that doesn't close completely ? Which car ? I have a solution for the 307.

bye.

Hi Robby.

The problem is that the window is closed but will not open using either button. All is ok as far as mechanism and power so it only really leaves a computer fault of some description.

Any help would be appreciated.

Jerry.

I'm not sure this can help but just in case: on my 307, when the key is in the service position, (very first step, where you choose the automatic lights or not) it is possible to set the min and max position of the windows. You simply have to open and close completely.

Hope it helps.
