These suggestions may sound stupid, and I don't know anything about cars, but I have owned 2 Grand Prix's. A 1992 and a 1991, and both had battery drain problems every once in a while. The cause for both cars was the interior lights were staying on. If your GP is the same as mine, then when you open and close the drivers door, the interior light stays on for 20 or so seconds. At times in my first GP (the '92) the light wouldn't go off, causing the batter to get drained. On my current GP ('91) I had to physically go into the drivers door and disconnect the connector that makes the light stay on. Now, the light operates like a normal car. Door open, lights on. Door closed, lights off. Also, with my '91 GP, I went through 3 or 4 batteries before I found one that wouldn't drain. The problem was that my GP used too much power, and the batteries were not good enough. I bought a 750 or 800 amp battery, and haven't had a problem since. :)

It's called parasitic drain. There is a load/accessory taking power from the battery with the car in a shutdown condition. Most likely caused by a grounded or faulty component. Does the car have power antenna, electronic level control, rear window defogger? Or it could be caused by any number of other things. These probs can be witch hunts to locate sometimes.
