2001 Pontiac & white steam

Jun 30, 2005 0 Replies

Hoping someone has some advice on this. 2001 Grand-Am 6 cyl. Arrived home one day in the nick of time, she was overheating and putting out white steam out the exhaust. Long story-short, changed the head gaskets and the oil that had water. Now after all that, she doesn't overheat but I get a little white steam (nothing like before!!) out the exhaust after she is warmed up. There is no steam when she first starts up.

Any ideas?? Shouldn't changing the oil have gotten all the water out of her ??

Thanks in advance - Kevin
