Correct, different modes produce different condensation. And if the computer is controlling it, it can switch modes to suit.

I'll suggest that increased airflow across the evaporator in a certain mode causes less condensation than another. But, the fact that it overflows EVER means the drain is NOT working properly. Fix it and you won't need to ponder this anomaly. GW
