So here is the deal. The cruise in my '95 Bonnevile works. It turns on, and keeps the car going at the determined speed (within a few miles per hour) but the ride is terrible. If you could get seasick in a car this will make you do it. When the cruise control is on and set, the car will rev to that speed, then let up, then rev to that speed again, and let up. It continues to do this until you turn the cruise off, or throw up and wreck. These pulses last for about a second, with maybe three or four seconds between each one. It is no different than if I were to push the gas pedal, let off of it, and repeat that process. So can anyone tell me where to start? My little bit of reading says to replace the servo, but I don't understand why, really.
I also get a similar affect when I have the A/C on, but to nowhere near the power difference of when the cruise is on. Seperate issues, I'm sure.
THanks,
