I've heard that the front wheel drive '06 and '07 Vibes get better mpg than the '05 and back models. Can anyone varify this and perhaps provide the city/hwy EPA rating for the '05 and back models? And while we're at it, what kind of real world mileage are you getting with your Vibe?

I have an '05 FWD. Most of my driving is city type, stop and start, lots of stops signs and lights. I get 23-25 mpg around town, and 33-34 on highway trips. During a particular hot spell when I was using the AC all the time, my milage dropped a bit.

Have a new 2006 Vibe with 1100 miles so far... mpg around town (avg) 30 I love it because we traded in a 2004 Mazda 3 that gave us 27-28 mpg around town. The Vibe has more room and is easier to get my tall body in and out!
