What kind of paint should be used

Question

I am looking to redo the chrome piece between the tail light on '65 GTO. the chrome will only rechrome it what kind of paint should be used for the black between the fins and the white for the letters? Stan

No it is a bolt in roll bar. If you check some of the other pictures seecan see it has been removed. My nephew plans on it being a driver not ashow car. But we do plan to get it down to the bare frame and get itblasted and then build from there.StanGeoff Welsh wrote:

Good to here, that's awesome65 is a killer year...66 and 67 just look bigger somehow.I'll have my 70 (best looking round-body year) until I die, but if I ever get an extra GTO I'll get a 64 or 65.Since it will be a driver, make sure you replace every single wiring harness in it from the dash fwd.  I thank the stars that I did that on mine (when it was apart) every time I try to solve some wiring problem mess on a "normal" car at work (general auto repair shop).GW

If you could only see the wiring on this. My brother is the originalowner. When it was under warranty it had some electrical problems andthe agency fixed it by rewiring and not putting in a new harness. Thanthere is the '70's when I put the roll bar in, 12 bolt rear end, andchanged the wiring to run a small block chevy at the drags. It has satfor about the latest 27 years.StanGeoff Welsh wrote:
