My Prius dealer suggested I get my 2004 Prius jets cleaned as its been at least 2 years since they were last done..I cant see where in the service manual where this item needs doing at any milage or age of my vehicle. Any ideas plse folks? Should I tell him to forget the jets as its going cost almost $100 more for them alone to be cleaned.

If they get fouled, then yes. Much easier to simply buy E10 from the start so that they never get fouled.

I should have added that they rarely need cleaning but if they do removing and cleaning with the correct machine is by far the best method.

Dunno about jets but y'must admit, the pooass wouldn't look or go too badly with two solid fuel booster rockets sticking out the back.
