Grey smoke AFTER 3000 RPM?? This is weird... Normally if you have a gasket problem or gunk buildup it will burn at any RPM, any time... This Post 3000 RPM is odd... Is it hard to start? Does it have a TurboCharger, and if it does, do you know when it starts to sing? If the Turbo is sick, and begins working hard at 3000 RPM, this might be an answer...
