I heard someone mention this and am having problems with the alarm system of my 2000 9-5. Does anyone out there know anything about this? Was there/Is there a recall? What are the details?

There was a Service Campaign for some 1999 9-5 models to replace the alarm siren. The campaign expired on 11/22/01. The replacement was done due to defective batteries in the alarm siren. The batteries are not designed to be replaced in the LUCAS made unit, however some have reported that they have been able to obtain replacements and solder them in place.
