I have a 1996 SAAB 900 se turbo convertible and want to connect an ODBii reader to check on continuous Check Engine light on which was diagnosed last summer without finding any faults or cause ?????(previous owner) Where is it located? It is a left hand drive unit. Some say fuse box on drivers side, other fuse box in engine compartment and other says under passenger carpet area. Any correct info appreciated. Cheers, Art

In the USA, the connector is centered directly under the steering wheel, down as low as you can go on the lower dash panel. There's a rubber connector over the plug.
If there left it where it was when making the LHD version, it would then be under the glove box, down low. If they moved it with the steering wheel, it's as described above.
