Hi guys, thanks for your advices - Grunff's suggestion of velcro is exactly what my tame MoT tester suggested - he also said fyi, if you remove it completely it is not an MoT failure, but a "floppy visor is" - but you probably know that
I've removed it & am keeping a spare baseball cap in the car!
