The 'Replace Battery' message appeared on the SID in my 93. The replacement battery is a CR2032 so I bought 5 off eBay for =A32.
Things were looking good...
The problem is the screw that keeps the casing for the remote closed is a lot more difficult to get to that it appears. Unfortunately, in my attempt to unscrew the screw to replace the battery, I've managed to wear the cross-hairs away so there is no chance of getting in to it.
SAAB are quoting me =A360 for a replacment unit (i.e. the case and the transmitter inside) which I don't need. I only need the casing.
There appears to be a part number on the casing ("Lucas 4 TXD TX") but I've had no joy tracking this down anywhere.
Any advice?
