Dr. Thorn smelled burning two milesinto her journey at Aird but pressed on to Holyhead with smoke billowingfrom the rear wheels. This journey also holds the records for thelongest completed journey with the choke fully out and the rightindicator flashing.Graham

1990 was the last year for the carburetor in the US. I had an 1987 Buick with a carburetor.
