Re: L300 Oil plug worn

I think the dealer is referring to the rubber seal/gasket attached to the plug. In the S series, the oil pan had a funny depression and the rubber gasket will eventually tear. The L series is probably the same.

A new plug is only about 2 bucks so it's easier to change it rather than to try and find a another gasket that would work.
