The dealer worked it out with the aftermarket warranty provider!
My copy of the contract only mentioned the seat motor, but apparently the heater is included as well.
The heater is something like $50, the leather seat shell for the bottom is about $250 and the rest is labor and misc. The total to rebuld the seat bottom with a new heater is about $600.
My buns would really be cooked if I didn't have the extended warranty coverage.
