Just finally got through with health issues. Took the Champion out the other day and while checkingt he car noticed an issue. The passenger side, front body mount right under the firewall is MIA! I mean, not there anymore???????? Where can I obtain a new one? Car will be going in for some frame welding work and I want to fix this issue. Also going to install oversize rod bearings to get rid of the slight knock in engine. Any input would be, as usual, very much welcomed. Flathead
I would suggest Classic, but they don't do sedans, SASCO might have them.

I believe if it is only one or two knocking you can isolate which one by pulling plug wires one at a time. Before I would put oversize bearings on all of them I would check them with platiguage to make sure they can take them.
Are you talking about the rubber pads that go between the body mount and the frame mount? If so, go by a store that sells rubber belting for conveyors and ask about some pieces of scrap belting in various thicknesses. Take them home and make your own body mount pads.

It would help if you tell us what car you have. I am stripping out several studebakers. Do you need the frame cross member? Bob
It is the mount that goes on the front croos member under the firewall. The car is a two door 57 Champion. Thanks, George.
I replaced the number 4 and 6 rod bearings with standard size. This did not help. Will measure with guage when we take the pan down. Thanks, Geo. ( the previous post should say 'cross' not 'croos'!)
