Barry, Being a Wife that almost lost her life alittle over 9yrs ago my heart just aches for you. Please try real hard to be strong so she doesnt have to worry about you. Sam still has post trama syndrome over it. Life does change & when faced with what you're going thru you just look at things differently now. The past-the present and the future. Be realistic with what she says, if she says we've got to get things in order do so. It gives her piece of mind. Do not' not let her. So what, it needs to be done anyway. I have no great words of wisdom, just be understanding and know she's weak and needs help. It gets tiring trying to fight, just when she starts getting to weak give her a reason to fight. That's when she'll need it most. Tell her a Grandkid needs "blah-blah-blah" & oh yea will kick in and she can fight off what-ever. Last but least Barry, be patient....recovery is tough and we do get moody & cry. I know its a helpless feeling but thats when G_d gave you those arms; to hold her weak body. Love, Rhonda

Barry I wondered if I should say anything here as I read the posts and your wife's story...Well In 1998 I had a blocked bowel...Was told by 3 doctors I was not going to see 51...I was 50 then...I wanted one last drive around and to check my will,say goodbye,etc...Bit scared for who was being left that needed me yet...Got a nice late night call in my hospital bed from my older sister Sandra that I will never forget...We layed her to rest Feb.2007 at 62...

OK...I'm 60 now and still here...Best I can say is your a fighter and I can't see you married to someone who's not one too...You know that the dry wheel gets the grease...Keep speaking up to tell the doctors to do their best for you both and you both will win the day yet...

Never give up the fight till the fight is won...I heard that in a movie but it works...God bless you both...
