Nope, that that either. The font looks a little like Studebaker so I thot it MIGHT be PRE 47.

Not even close. 47-48-49, came with a case around it, 47 had 'notches' around the area that sticks out of the dash. 48-49 had smooth bevels. The lettering does not come close to matching the font style used from 47 to
BG.
