Meet options?

O.K. all, I seek opinions...and I know there are LOTS of 'em HERE... If a state meet was planned to be a casual, less "formal" type of meet more on the style of a picnic or large "social" gathering would you attend? Trophies limited to a couple "people's choice" with no judging and the banquet would be a simple buffet affair. Vendors would get free space, and free dinner. People would be encouraged to "clean out the garage" and bring stuff to sell, trade, give away, etc. Studebaker George

What you said. . . plus a good cater Bar-b-que with a slow cruse someplace neat at night to cap the day off. With a return time home that next day sounds good to me.

That sounds like a great idea to me, George. You should go ahead with it. :-) I think they're should be a 'get-together' type meet for Studes anyways. No getting upset over judging, so picking at the details of cleaning the car, just drive in and have a good time.

laid back is for me, people's choice always good, local non-profit's good for food vending (nix Boy Scout's serving cold KFC for $20.00 as one certain group did a handfull of years ago). As a vendor I am willing to pay registration fee for good sized space and additional $$ $ for additional space. I'm hoping for outside vendor space at SB.
