OT-Check Engine Hell revisited

Well from your reply posts I guess I am not alone ,but hopefully I have reached the last chapter! I purchased a "exhaust gas flow sensor",as suggested by my Google search results,of which the overwhelming opinion was these items go bad frequently, causing EGR related codes. So far(typing with fingers crossed) the CEL has been dormant for 3 days!!!!! But since it is a Ford,I aint partying yet!! The sensor was 61 Dollars. I have spent approximately $180 dollars to fix the EGR related issues. I should have Googled the CEL codes before, but if I would have sent it out to a shop, their labor rate probably would have been that much besides parts. So I figure its a wash at this point, and I still did it myself.I hate to pay someone money to screw up something I can screw up equally as well, for less.

8P Besides,I LEARN from my mistakes, not hate myself for paying

someone else to cause me grief. Thanks for all the replys.
