Something strange started occurring yesterday with the engine idle. It has always held a steady RPM at idle, but yesterday it was surging up and down 250 RPM. No unusual engine loads such as A/C on.
The previous day it almost wanted to stall when approaching a stop sign. Depressed the clutch pedal and it was running rough with less than 500 RPM, but came back to normal before stalling.
Any suggestions on what to look at to resolve this issue?
