My AWD is now just operating in FWD. Is there a fuse/relay that I can check? Definitly no fuse in the FWD slot in the engine fuse block.
I did have the Check Engine Light pop on a few times in the past few days. Didn't seem like it affected anything.
Also, just recently, when I press on the brakes, the dashboard lights illuminate (with the lights off). When the lights are on, the dash lights are fine.
Can a computer reset help?

Possibly. It wouldn't hurt to disconnect your battery for several hours, all you'll lose are the radio presets, and it sounds to me like that would be the least of your worries. :)
It definitely sounds electrical, which would account for the FWD lock and the dash lights.
Question, is only the dash light lit, or have you actually seen only the front wheels spin on loose gravel?

Front wheels spin. The rears kick in when I first start to drive. Then they disengage. Dash lights illuminate when I hit the brakes. All the lights light up.
You probably know this, but sometimes electrical issues that don't seem to make sense are caused by a grounding problem.
