Does anyone know if the EDR (Event Data Recorder) is being installed in USA model Subarus??

I'm pretty sure there isn't. Never heard anyone here mention them.
If you *want* one, I believe there are aftermarket solutions, however they can be expensive.

Nope, just wondering if they are so equipped. The part of the article that concerned me is that L.E. claims they can access the stored data at an accident scene, but would need a warrant if the vehicle was subsequently stored at a wrecking yard.
