We have a 1999 Outback Wagon with 114,000 miles. Still looks like new. Never broken down and never required anything beyond regular maintenance. Great car.
2003 WRX Sedan. Just a bit over 11K miles. *sigh* I need to drive more...

Hey
1984 GL wagon 300,124 miles. Had to replace blown head gaskets at 297,000 miles. Relatively straighforward repair once you diagram and tag the many vacuum lines. That engine is a very snug fit! (I'm not a mechanic, nor am I mechanically inclined.) Gas mileage is good, 26 to 30mpg. I second the admonition to keep the revs up---NEVER under 2,000RPM in any gear but first. Nice little ride... '96 Impreza Outback Sport, bought new, 124k miles, absolutely no problems other than just recently relpacing the coolant temp. sending unit. I installed a lightweight crank pulley a few years ago that easily made a 10% improvement in gas mileage.
'03 Outback H6-3.0, bought new, 30k miles, no problems except the in-dash CD played did not work from day one, and was promptly replaced under warranty.
MY03 WRX 14,000kms and still feels like new!
371,000 miles on my 93 legacy wagon automatic
I had a 86 GL Turbo and sold it at 140,000 miles
01 Loyale automatic sedan that I sold at 110,000 Both of them were still running well at the time. I have a 99 Impreza wagon now that has 59,000 miles on it.Daryle
