mass air flow sensor dirty

Dec 01, 2004 1 Replies

I just changed the factory air filter for a K&N for a little bit more air. I'm just waiting to come back from Iraq to change it to CAI. My problem is that the filter comes already charged with oil. That oil was a lot and I didn't check it when I put it on, I just wanted to feel the change. Well, that oil got into my Mass Air Flow sensor and my car runs like crap now. The turbo takes time to kick in, the car is not the same though, I'm searching and searching in the internet for tips on how to clean it or am I assed out and have to buy a new one. Thanks.
