Steering Rack Boot torn

Howdy all,

I got a steering rack boot torn, right side. Gotta a few questions on it:

1. To replace it, i would have to remove tie rod end, pull the old one in and put the new one on.

1. Do I have to fill the boot with greese?

2. Can this be done inhouse, with a few simple tools. My guess is that I can lift the car and not have to remove the tire, correct?\
