What is the toughest Subaru of all time?

Young and old taken into account. All weather from -50 F in alaska to 120 across a thousand mile desert. to water deeper than it shoudn't be. to mud that acts like boots stuck in a mud puddle leaving you there in your socks when you break free....Ice rain snow and giving a ride to the 6 foot four obese neighbor squatting the car after sitting inside with bent knees. Then to clean it all off for a car show look.

I have a guess. hint: it cost 25000 dollars less then... and 25000+ dollars less now. Still running. and it is forgotten.. like Subaru does to every customer that has had to sit back and eat the unannouced changes that will leave your precious Subaru behind.

Here is some extra questions: Has anyone dropped a 5 main bearing crankshaft on the ground lately? where in freaking hell did they get the high torque numbers for that thing? was a

120 lb driver on board with a 500lb Soob and a super lubed dyno?

Will enough complaints change a socialist approach to car engineering?

Life is a bumpy road. cushion for the tread is a good thing.
