WRX A/C removal

The air conditioning motor is starting to go on my 02 WRX and I'm considering removing it rather than replacing it. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated.

By AC motor, I assume you are referring to the compressor? If you really don't want/need the AC you can just remove the belt.
