I work on them, drive them...etc. I don't like them. Unless they have changed the controls inside this year, (haven't been in a 2007 yet), I find the CTS to be least intuitive vehicle GM has when it comes to figuring out how to do anything when it comes to your radio controls, menu items.. etc.
The engine is a good engine mechanically, the rear axle always springs a leak at the pinion seal, there have been vibration issues with the driveshaft. Front brakes can wear out fairly early, and they always take out the front rotors (ie: you won't be just machining the rotors, you will replace them, as the brake pads wear the rotors down enough to take them below min spec).
Now the CTS-V version is a pretty cool vehicle....but it has it's own set of problems. Like uncontrollable wheel hop.
