sounds like a poor ground still, ASSuming that the battery voltage reads good. What's the battery voltage sitting and while trying to crank?

When it doesn't start, what is the voltage on the battery?

If you wiggle and bang on the key, does it help?

When it's not starting, does anything work in the accessory position?

Could be a bad relay/solenoid, or a bad starter. I had a case like that- bad spot on starter motor commutator. Wouldn't start if it happened to stop from previous start with commutator phase at bad spot.

Sounds like a lazy solenoid... Do you have appx battery voltage at the start terminal of the starter solenoid with the key in the crank position?

Also, how did you test the grounds? A voltage drop test would be ideal... HTH, Ben
