Chevy 6.0L and 8.1L Mileage

Hi,

Buying a new truck, Going to be a 3/4 ton 4WD.

What is the rule of thumb for MPG on a late model Chevy 6.0L and

8.1L gas engine. Sounds like only a 1-2 MPG difference.

Driving a 1999 5.7L 1/2 ton now, getting 12-13.
