Didn't pay a ticket in NJ and now live in California (what can they do)?

Did NJ take your fingerprints for your license (or other things like security guard or real estate license)?

One of my best friends growing up in LA didn't get his license until he was in his twenties. It was odd because several in our group were car guys, as was his dad. But he always had his hot sister and hot girlfriend (and the rest of us) to drive him around, so that was pretty "convenient."

Bench Warrants do NOT get served. No one goes out looking for you. But if the cops find you, you are subject to immediate arrest. WTF is an "Interstate Bench Warrant"? I've never heard of such an animal.

It seems impractical for California to arrest you on a New Jersey Bench Warrant -- after all, what would they do with you? They're not going to ship you back to NJ, and NJ is not going to come and get you for a traffic offence.

True, but all we can do is speculate. I'd be more worried about CA finding out about lies on applications and over-responding, given all the homeland security hoo-haa these days. But then again, I've been seeing a lot of homeland security on the trains lately, so I'm a bit conscious of that. They've asked me for my ticket 3 times lately (as opposed to the normal conductor asking). One guy even has a dog.
