Drip Drip Drip

Hi group,

I'm working on a 1987 Isuzu Trooper with the 2.3 liter I4 with close to

200K on it. The current problems include some oil leaks that I have yet to fully identify.

The first one seems to be leaking from the distributor. It could be just the O-ring on the shaft, but I'm wondering if there was ever a gasket between the distributor and its mating surface on the head. If there was one, it's not there any more. I have seen evidence of oil inside the distributor also. Is there an internal shaft seal that could be gone?

The second one seems to be an oil leak from the vent/overflow tube on the fuel pump. Does this indicate that a new fuel pump is in order or perhaps something else is awry?

I don't even know why I keep trying to revive this old thing. Maybe I just have nothing better to do with my time.

I work at Fisher Auto and we don't show a listing for a mounting gasket.. The picture of the distributor though has a o-ring to seal it.
