Replaced the solenoid pack and MLVPS sensor to correct P0700. Now getting this code P0736. What does this mean?
At a guess, you put the vehicle in reverse, and the PCM compared the input and output shaft RPMs on the trans and detected a mismatch between the expected gear ratio and what you're actually getting.
Any idea what the cause is? It seems to "slip" in any gear. Have to raise the rpm to get it to move. Thanks for the reply.
TC problem would be my first suspect. You did reconnect all the wire harnesses? Were the replacement parts known-good or pulls?
Yes, only removed the connection to the MLVPS. All parts were from NAPA or dealer.
