Please help me find the low coolant sender on Buick 3100cc V-6

Daughters 1994 Buick Regal has a low coolant light flashing. The car does not overheat, coolant level is Ok, and I have pressure checked and bled the system. I am assuming the sender is bad or the wire is grounded. Daughter wants the light to stop flashing. Appreciate sincere suggestions.

Sending unit is in the overflow tank. Wires going in near the bottom. The float sometimes gets hung up on crud. Try whacking the tank to free up the float.

Appreciate the advice, but the buick doesn't have any wires on the plastic coolant tank. Could the sender located on the radiator somewhere?
