I am looking to buy an older Sabaru 4WD or AWD (is 4wd or awd preferred?) car to commute in - was wondering if anyone might make some recommendations - I see several listings locally for Subarus of this vintage with prices in the 2000-3000 range - are there any models of these vintages to avoid? I had a 91 legacy and gave it to my sister in law I just wish I still had it. great car and easy to work on. just change the oil in the rear diff and clean that little stopper back there as well.
