I sometimes notice a sound like a relay activating. It seems to come from the area of the climate controls - i.e, in the center of the dash. It might happen every 2 minutes, then not again for a long time.

I'd suspect the air conditioner, since I think it's meant to come on perdiodically in Defrost as a maintenance measure. But it also happened even when Heater was selected. How can that be? Any cause for concern? Thanks.

Could be just about anysort of relay in the dash. Hard to say what it might be for, but it seems like an ordinary sound. Unless something isn't working correctly I would consider it normal.

As long as its all working OK, I dont see a problem.

If it aint broke, dont fix it !
