Polybush - Red or Blue

other stuff to check is all the steering joints and the steering damper, and swivel bearings as well.

Leaving the question of red/blue to others .... if your present bushes (assuming front radius arm and panhard rod bushes) are more than, say, five years old with only road use or less with off-road use just replacing them will be enough to restore most of the tautness. At 11 years old, restoring the tautness to square one involves other components, too.

Mac, I replaced the bushes on my 110 with Red bushes & on the wife's Discovery with Blue Poly Bushes so I can give you a comparison. If you need very taught suspension set up go for the Red, but I have found that they increase the harshness of the ride considerably to the point that I am changing the

I put red bushes on my 90 after having to keep replacing rubber ones after off roading a lot. Off road I think the red ones are too firm. On road though (which is where my 90 spends most of its time - dont go off roading now much) the bushes help really well with the handling. I can go round corners at a reasonable speed and there hardly seems any body roll. Red = bad off road, good on road Blue = good off road, not so good on road.

Don't forget there are Britpart Black, Yellow and Blue as well......

There are also Orange polybushes, which are in between red and blue ... I have these on my Discovery. They are *very* good, not too soft, and not too harsh ;-)

I have them too, and they are great.

You can also get a hybrid kit, which have some red and some blue.
