Please could someone help with advice????
I have a renault Laguna (1996). It has automatic transmission and all of a sudden it has started with a problem. It has 137000 miles on the clock and has Renault service history up to 120 000 miles.
The problem is when engaging "D" for drive ( or any forward gear) the vehicle takes and then slips out of gear and starts revving like crazy. In reverse all is well and reverse works. The engine management system has not displayed any problem and still shows all is ok!!!!! What could be the problem and would it b expensive to fix, or should i scrap the vehicle??
