I'm trying to locate a replacement for the (electric) secondary AIR injection pump for my 1996 Chevy Camaro Z28. 5.7L engine.
All the usual sources (autozone, advance auto, etc) tell me this is a "dealer-only" item. Dealership wants ~ $245 for one. I find this a little bit hard to swallow.
So...
- Where ELSE can I buy one? I see an eBay seller has a new one for sale.
- Can I rebuild this one? It seems to be just a simple electric motor air pump.
