Well, changed out all the emission hoses. Changed out the spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. Kitted the carb and made real sure that all hoses are routed properly. Cleaned the after burn unit. Timing is spot on. Can't run the idle rpm's at 650, however as the pickup simply will not idle that low. Pickup will start right up and idle without first punching the gas pedal to set the choke. After it warms up, however, it doesn't run as well, and has a tough time idling when stopping at a stop light. The #3 sprk plug will occasionaly gum up. I am suspecting that my remaining problem may be either a hairline crack in the aluminum head or perhaps a blown head gasket. Maybe more likely the crack, which would widen after things warm up. Opinions?
