Note to self: Now that's it's cold outside, I like wearing wool socks when I drive my Toyota. They keep my feet warm and dry.
Walmart, Sears, Target, and Old Navy did not have much of a selection of wool socks, although Walmart did charge only $5 per pair.
I picked up a pair at J.C. Penney called Wolverine. Very nice socks with 20 percent wool content. The best part is Wolverine socks are currently on sale at Penney's for half off! $20 for two pairs are now selling for $10! That's Walmart pricing.
The Camry really agrees with the Wolverines. When I depress the accelerator, the motion is very smooth with the socks on.
Dillard's has a nice pair of wool socks, too. I've forgotten the brand, but the cost is $16 per pair--not on sale.
Also picked up a pair of wool socks from Bass Pro Shop called Redhead, named for the duck. The wool content in these scrumptuously warm socks is even higher at 50 percent, and the price was $9. My Camry loves them!
Overall, though, the best value in town is the Wolverine sale at J.C.P.
